Extended family

Austin and Dad.  Dad seems to be doing reasonably well between bouts of nausea from chemotherapy and intense pain.  He is staying as active as possible.
Christian and Kate squat.

Crawl.
Smile.
Silly kids.
Yummy dinner.  Gary and I made lumpia, a dish he learned to love while living in Philippines.
I got to babysit and we all fell asleep.  First Kate and I sang to Christian, and he fell asleep, then I sang to Kate, and she feel asleep, then I fell asleep.

7 years!

No real good picture of us yet.
 Gary and the Frog.

This is Gary...picture says it all.

 Beautiful flower displays.
We had a great 7-year anniversary at the Homestead in Midway.  I haven't been there in probably 30 years.  It has changed a lot, but some has stayed the same.  We were able to see Andrew at the tail end of Swiss Days in Midway.  He had just sold a large print, so was very happy.

Spring things

Roasted Chessnuts Tournament/adoption event on a very cold May Day.

Snow morning of May 1.

The Peonies were gorgeous anyway.

Trip to Colorado Springs

We went to Colorado Springs to Gary's nephew's graduation. I have not been to Colorado Springs since I was 19 years old, and I really enjoyed the trip, the sights, and being able to see some other beautiful parts of Colorado.East side of Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

Top of mountain pass between Crawford and Gunnison, Colorado (cannot remember the pass name).
Curecanti Reservoir.
Top o' the world.

Buddy atop a cool rock.

Said nephew, Sean, high school graduation!
Graduation was held at Air Force Academy, pretty cool, eh? One of many 14ers in Colorado.

Have you ever been to The Melting Pot? OMG, it was soooo good. It was an experience, 3 courses and 3+ hours. We went there for the graduation after party.
Cheese dip anyone?
Gary's bro and sis-in-law. Bike ride in Colorado Springs.

My buddies.
Pikes Peak from Colorado Springs side.
Down dog.
Bear, Buddy, me, and Jazzy.
The Arkansas River (can you believe it goes all the way to Arkansas)?
